Coccidostats

Coccidostats are agents that are used to prevent coccidiosis in animals. Amprolium is a coccidiostat used in poultry. It is a particularly effective anticocciosis in conjunction with sulfonamides for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in broilers as well as laying hens. Kempex has developed Amprol-plus, a very effective product that combines Amprolium (25%) with Ethopabate (1.6%).
