Coccidostats

Coccidostats are agents that are used to prevent coccidiosis in animals. Amprolium is a coccidiostat used in poultry. It is a particularly effective anticocciosis in conjunction with sulfonamides fort he treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in broilers as well as laying hens.
